Abraxane / Protein-Bound Paclitaxel Nanoparticle Therapy
Abraxane (Protein-Bound Paclitaxel Nanoparticle Therapy) is a chemotherapy treatment that uses tiny albumin-bound nanoparticles to deliver paclitaxel directly to tumors more efficiently than conventional formulations. It is commonly used for breast, pancreatic, and non-small cell lung cancers. By eliminating certain solvents used in traditional paclitaxel, Abraxane may reduce some side effects while improving drug delivery and treatment effectiveness.
